So, this is sad. I pretty much FORGOT I had a blog until Ruthie mentioned blogs today in church, so I thought I'd get on and post something. Didn't realize that the last time I posted one was May of last year!!! Hehe, oops!
Anyway, I guess I should update everyone since it's been so long. Ummmm, where to begin? I got a car last summer, I think, can't remember exactly when it was. Still work at Dairy Queen, unfortunately, but I've been trying a lot harder to get a new job. Also, my mom told me the other day about a place that's looking for a part-time sales associate, which would be perfect for me.
It's my last year of high school, and we've already got my senior pictures done and over with. (woot woot)
As of right now, I'm in Driver's Ed, and I only have two more weeks of driving left and about a month of class. It's Monday and Thursday nights 6:15-8:45 pm. My partner and I drive every Sunday 12-2, which means I have to leave church service a little bit early every week, but, like I said, only two more weeks.
Anyway, that's all the updates I can think of right now. I'll try to remember to keep you posted a lot more often, but for now...

Ok, so I don't mind working an OCCASIONAL 3-close shift, but that's what I'm working next monday... as in, Memorial Day monday. I get time and a half pay cuz it's a holiday, but still! An eight freakin' hour shift!!! The worst part is that he put it on this week's schedule. See, schedules at DQ go from monday to sunday, so we should have until thursday to request it off if we need it, right? Wrong! It's like he sneaks it on the schedule early to make sure that he has people who have to work cuz they didn't, no, they COULDN'T request it off!!!!
The thing that makes everything worse is that that is the only day that my grandma, aunt and cousin, my mom, and I could go shopping. Well, so much for that!!!!

Soooo, I dyed my hair Sunday! I had been wanting to dye it for a quite awhile and Banquet's coming up, so I'd been trying to figure out when to do for Banquet. Well, Sunday I had text a friend of mine and asked if she wanted to hang out. She told me that she was getting her hair dyed, so I just asked if her sister could do mine. She said she could if I got there soon, then she asked what color cause they're going to pick up the hair dye. I told her I wanted dark brown with a little red or purple. I'm NOT kidding, it came out reddish-purple with a little brown! It even has a black spot!! All I had to say was... AWESOME!!!!!

But I don't think her sister really believes that I like it. I think she thinks I'm just being polite. For five bucks, I'm gonna be honest and, besides, it's not like it'd be her fault if it didn't turn out well! But oh well!

So, this year I've officially hooked on American Idol! Usually I just watch the auditions, but, for whatever reason, I can't stop watching!!!! My top five are still in it, so I'm really happy. My top five (in order) are:

2). Allison Iraheta
3). Danny Gokey
4). Kris Allen
5). Lil Rounds

I'm also excited because last night one of my LEAST favorites went home. The judges can choose to save ONE person this season, and they told Megan that they weren't going to even consider saving her! She doesn't have a bad voice, I just don't like it.

So, a friend got on to me today about not having blogged in three moths. You wanna know what came to mind?
"THREE MONTHS ALREADY!?!?!?"
I didn't actually say that (even though I thought it), what I did say was that my life must too boring to blog about often!

Anyway, now that I'm done with the intro, let me update you on somethings. My job's going good, but I don't get too many hours so saving towards my future car is slow. And I mean, REALLY slow! Of course, it doesn't help that I've gotten called off a couple times recently cause of the weather. But I digress. I am also currently hoping for a job at Rue 21, which would be ABSOLUTELY amazing!!

Other than that, not much is going on... Oh! I almost forgot! Apparently, a good friend of mine is transferring schools!! And so now, I'm practically alone... except for ONE friend! I mean, I know I'll see her at church, but c'mon!! The school year's almost done! I think she's trying to get away from me, but doesn't want to hurt my feelings!

Uh-oh. I better go now. I need to try to find something to eat before I head off to work tonight. Well, talk to ya whenever something exciting happens!


And, to my friend who's tranferring (you know who you are), I'm just kidding! You know I luv ya bunches!!!!

So, today was a long day, cuz my whole school was rehearsing for the school's Christmas program, which happens to be tomorrow! But, not only that, it turns out that someone on the dance team tore two ligaments, and she had a sign language solo!!!!! }:(

So now, I'm the one doing it for her, but I was on the other side of the stage, so I have to switch up pretty much everything I've learned so far. One of the girls who was already on that side was asking me to teach her, but not many people in the school can pick up sign language that quickly, (not that I'm meaning that as I'm the only competent one there) so that won't work. So now I'm stuck with it and I'm kinda freaking out cuz I won't even be able to practice with the music until tomorrow, the day of the program!

One thing that bothers me out of all this though, is that, since I hang out with my best friend a lot and she just happens to be a certified sign language teacher, it seems like everyone expects me to know it as well!!!!

I DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW SIGN LANGUAGE, PEOPLE!!!!!

So, I don't blog that much, because I usually don't have much to blog about. Well, yesterday, school gave me something to blog about, all right.

I was having a good day up until third hour. We were getting notes for an upcoming test, we were actually running a little behind, but, oh well, anyway, some of the kids in my class don't really care about their grades too much and therefore weren't too concerned with getting all the notes, which I believe is a personal choice that should go without condemnation. (at least not too much, that is). Anyway, we had a minute left of class, so, being the top-notch students they were *cough, cough wink,wink* they were gathering up all their stuff. Well, then the bell rang, so they stand up and my teacher says that everyone who has their stuff gathered up can go. But as they're leaving, she yells out to one of them that, for the person with the worst GPA in the school, practically, he might want to focus on trying to get good notes.

First off, the bell had already rang, so almost the whole school was right outside the door. Second, she told him he could leave!
And then, to top it all off, she told another one of the teachers, who then was going to have him step down from the worship team because, "he wasn't living right"!!!

This made sooooo ticked when I heard it. Yeah, he needs to actually try to do good in school, but what happened was completely uncalled for, in my "humble" opinion!



Thank you... I shall now step down from my soap box before I get even more ticked from just thinking about it.
